Job summary

Amrize in the United States is seeking a Quality Expert to ensure top-tier cement quality across North American sites. The role focuses on optimizing the manufacturing process, maintaining lab equipment, and driving quality initiatives with regional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, 10 years cement quality field experience, and strong knowledge of ISO/TIS/LIMS systems. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel up to 50% across cement plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years plant experience in cement quality field.
• Experience in ISO and TIS/LIMS knowledge.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office/Google Suite.
• Good knowledge of statistical methods and their application in cement quality.

Responsibilities

• Zero Harm: uphold safety policies and incident management.
• Optimize product quality at each step (raw mix, clinker, cement strength).
• Set performance-based targets for cement.
• Calibrate lab equipment and configuration of TIS/LIMS.
• Monitor quality KPIs and support sites with improvement actions.
• Lead training and share best practices in quality across sites.
