Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Technical Service Engineer II to support cementitious products across the Midwest from a remote location. Expect up to 50% travel, primarily in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, and Kansas, to assist the sales force with technical and marketing services.

You will develop strategies, train customers, troubleshoot quality issues, and promote Amrize’s cementitious offerings while adhering to safety policies in all settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field required.
• 5+ years of experience in concrete or construction related field preferred.
• Excellent understanding of the cement industry and admixtures (chemical and mineral).
• Sales promotion experience or training is a plus.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in implementation of marketing strategies for cementitious products.
• Train customers and Amrize personnel in cement and concrete analysis and promotional activities.
• Troubleshoot and handle customer quality-related complaints.
• Support market managers on technical issues related to multiple product lines.
• Develop connections with customers, DOTs, trade associates, architects, engineers, and public affairs.
