Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Technical Field Sales Professional based in Albuquerque, Farmington NM, or Durango CO to drive measurement sales across New Mexico, Four Corners, and surrounding territory. The role is remote and field‑based, focused on building customer partnerships and pursuing strategic opportunities.

You will manage accounts, develop plans, present tailored solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize value while traveling within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience relevant to products and industry.
• 1+ year of related technical sales experience.
• Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel within territory.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities, generate demand, and identify greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Present clear, customer‑focused solution recommendations that address customer challenges and deliver measurable value.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities from lead to order to maximize the product and service portfolio.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers, technical specialists, and support teams to align strategies.
• Apply pricing strategies that balance customer needs with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to anticipate needs and uncover opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, forecasts, and account insights in CRM.
