Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeks a Midwest-based sales role focusing on ethanol and carbohydrate processing markets. The position is remote with training in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, develop account plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in sales or a technical-facing role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships within the fuel ethanol and carbohydrate processing industry.
• Drive new business opportunities and support revenue targets.
• Understand ethanol and manufacturing processes to identify sales opportunities.
• Develop account plans and present commercial offers aligned with strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical services and R&D.
• Support implementation of IFF technologies such as enzymes and fermentation solutions.
• Resolve customer challenges by identifying root causes and unmet needs.
• Utilize Salesforce and forecasting tools to support sales execution.
