James Hardie Building Products Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead regional technical sales execution, coach installers, and drive growth with local contractors in the Long Island and New York area. The role reports to District Sales Manager with collaboration to Regional Technical Sales Leader.

You will develop builder and installer specifications, manage accounts, and partner with RAMs to execute joint plans. Travel 30-40% is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in a high-touch environment.
• 5+ years preferred in building science or construction context.
• 1+ years using CRM software (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho).
• Ability to travel 30–40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Execute regional technical sales strategy focusing on installer coaching and priority markets.
• Identify growth opportunities with local installers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain product and builder specifications for job sites.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key installation accounts.
• Partner with Exteriors Sales Reps to plan and drive funnel execution.
• Remove barriers to product adoption and expand installer coverage.
