Job summary

James Hardie Building Products Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive regional technical sales, develop installer relationships, and enable growth through consultative account management with local installers.

The role focuses on applying technical knowledge to promote product adoption, partner with regional managers, and deliver construction-friendly solutions across targeted markets. A competitive compensation package includes benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of sales experience; 5+ years preferred.
3-5 years of building science/construction experience and building envelope design.
1+ years of experience with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).

Responsibilities

Execute regional technical sales strategy by coaching installers in priority markets, contractors, and projects.
Identify growth opportunities with installation companies and partner with stakeholders.
Maintain accurate product and installer specifications for job sites; audit practices and implement corrective action.
Develop and manage installer relationships; expand coverage to meet demand and drive sales.
Lead market development through lead generation, networking, and value propositions.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with key installation accounts.
