Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a Technical Sales Director for the Data Center vertical, hyperscale. You will drive specification positioning and profitable sales with hyperscale DC owners, EPCs, integrators, and distributors.

Reporting to the Director of Data Center, Hyperscale, you will manage the market, collaborate across engineering, marketing and operations, and advance the multi-year strategic plan across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales experience in data center markets, with distribution, EPC, or direct channels.
• Strong relationships in the data center ecosystem (colocation a plus).

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop targets and plans to achieve sales goals via distribution, agents, or direct channels.
• Build relationships with Engineering Firms, EPCs, Distributors, and Data Center integrators.
• Provide market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and market share.
• Identify opportunities to drive mix with new customers, products, or services.
• Coordinate with other Southwire units to deliver One Southwire value to data center customers.
• Proactively manage profitability and receivables in the market segment.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to guide product positioning and solution design.
• Present technical insights, roadmaps, and long-term innovation strategies to executives.
• Represent Southwire in data center industry associations and committees.
• Ensure policy compliance and manage staff performance and development.
