GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a federal technology program. You will own day‑to‑day program controls, maintain trackers and artifacts, and surface risks early to keep work on track.

The ideal candidate will translate complex IT concepts into clear status updates and action items for the TPM, with strong MS Excel, SharePoint, and 365 tool proficiency. This fully remote US‑based role offers a dynamic environment and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) in a related field.
Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe are preferred but not required.
Clearance: Public Trust.
Experience in project or program coordination, PMO support, or business analysis in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and information streams with accuracy and follow-through.
Hands‑on experience maintaining trackers, logs, and schedules.
Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical discussions into clear actions.
Familiarity with IT delivery concepts (Agile/SDLC) and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain program trackers, action items, risks/issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables using established templates.
Monitor schedules across multiple workstreams and elevate overdue or at-risk items to the TPM.
Incorporate changing priorities quickly while keeping commitments on track.
Follow up with internal teams and subcontractors to obtain status and deliverables.
Support customer coordination within appropriate boundaries.
Escalate matters requiring program judgment to TPM.
Prepare meeting materials and agendas; capture decisions, actions, owners, deadlines, and dependencies.
Draft recurring and ad hoc status reports and executive materials for review.
Maintain reporting solutions in Excel, SharePoint, and 365 apps; explore automation like Power Automate.
