Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. You will own day-to-day program controls, maintain trackers, drive actions, and surface risks early to keep deliverables on track.

The role requires strong communication with technical teams, ability to translate complex IT concepts into clear status updates, and proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and Power Platform tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years (or commensurate) in business, IT, PM, or related fields or equivalent experience.
• Certifications PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating fast-paced, technical programs and PMO support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program trackers, actions, risks/issues, and schedules using templates.
• Monitor multiple workstreams; escalate overdue or at-risk items to TPM.
• Capture decisions and owners; prepare status reports and exec materials.
• Support meetings, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation.
