Job summary

Stripe, LLC in San Francisco, CA is seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager to coordinate cross-functional infrastructure initiatives across Compute, Networking, Database and Services. You will work with teams to understand pain points and drive multi-domain solutions.

You’ll define and produce high quality proposals and documentation, execute programs with deep systems knowledge, and partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and TPMs to scope and deliver from kickoff to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 8 years of TPM experience.
• 8 years experience in Distributed Systems and SOA.
• 5+ years post-bachelor progressive experience.
• 6 years in core infrastructure: database, cloud compute, networking, services.
• 4 years experience in SQL.
• 3 years in Data Analysis, Cloud Infrastructure, and Developer Productivity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and drive large programs across multiple domains.
• Create high-quality proposals, communications and documentation.
• Execute on technical programs requiring deep systems knowledge.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and other TPMs to scope and drive large programs.
• Shape technical design and anticipate roadblocks across teams.
• Develop and implement program management KPIs to measure success.
• Elevate execution capabilities of engineering teams and train them.
• Influence stakeholders and build consensus amid ambiguity.
• Use data to drive strategic engineering decisions.
• Create plans to align multiple teams and drive consistency.
• Execute cross-functional programs for Core Infrastructure (Compute, Networking, Database, Services).
