Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning engineering, product, finance, legal and risk. You will define strategy, plan execution, and deliver large-scale initiatives that empower Stripe and its users globally.

You will drive program delivery across multiple teams, develop governance frameworks, and leverage data to inform leadership decisions, while guiding teams through ambiguity and changing requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical program management experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to digest complex information and make recommendations.
• Track record of providing program management through all software development phases from kickoff to launch.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Experience driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
• Experience leading large-scale efforts across time zones and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive functional and technical delivery of key team and org-wide programs/initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers and cross-functional partners to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion.
• Develop and iterate on program management techniques, frameworks, and KPIs to achieve goals.
• Improve communication and efficiency within teams to boost productivity.
• Define and produce high-quality proposals, communications and documentation.
• Leverage data to drive strategic decisions at an engineering leadership level.
• Create widely circulated plans and build alignment across teams.
• Influence peers and leaders while navigating ambiguity.
