Job summary

Stripe, LLC seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure programs across multiple engineering groups. You will partner with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and PMs to define scope, drive cross-functional delivery, and shape technical designs that scale our payments platform.

You will own KPIs, leverage data to guide decisions, and help elevate delivery discipline across teams. 100% telecommuting is permitted, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• 5+ years in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management
• 4 years in Core infrastructure (database, cloud compute, networking, services)
• 4 years in Program management during all phases of software development from kick-off to launch
• 2 years in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• 5 years in software architecture and systems design
• 5 years in technical program management in software infrastructure
• 5 years in cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, databases, or service frameworks)
• 1 year experience in SQL

Responsibilities

• Understand pain points across teams and propose cross-domain infrastructure solutions
• Define and produce high-quality proposals, communications, and documentation
• Execute programs requiring deep systems and engineering knowledge
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to scope and drive large programs to completion
• Shape technical design and anticipate roadblocks with engineers
• Develop, implement, and iterate on program management KPIs and success criteria
• Improve execution capability of engineering teams and uplift delivery
• Drive cross-functional programs spanning Stripe's core infrastructure for payments
• Deliver scalable solutions that protect users and support the business
