Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Infrastructure who will partner with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and cross-functional teams to define, scope, and drive large-scale programs that span Stripe’s core infrastructure. You will shape technical design, anticipate roadblocks, and drive data-driven decisions to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field; plus 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in software engineering, systems engineering or technical program management.
• 4 years experience in Core infrastructure including database, cloud compute, networking and services.
• 4 years experience in Program management during all phases of software development from kick-off to launch.
• 2 years experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• 5 years experience in software architecture and systems design; and 5 years in technical program management in software infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams across the organization to understand pain points in infrastructure usage and create cross-domain solutions.
• Define and produce high quality written proposals, communications and documentation.
• Execute on technical programs requiring deep systems and engineering knowledge.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads and Engineers to drive large programs to conclusion.
• Shape technical design and predict roadblocks by collaborating with engineers.
