Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Project Analyst to support the Technical Program Manager on a fast-paced federal technology program. The Analyst will own day-to-day program controls, trackers, artifacts, and risk logs, driving action follow-through across internal teams and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate is comfortable translating IT concepts into clear status, actions, and escalations, with strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years in business, IT, or PM fields.
• Certifications such as PMP/CAPM/CSM/SAFe are preferred but not required.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and workstreams in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Ability to convert technical discussions into clear actions, owners, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivots, formatting) and SharePoint.
• Experience maintaining program artifacts like trackers, logs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program trackers, actions, decisions, risks/issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor schedules across multiple workstreams and elevate at-risk items to TPM.
• Prepare agendas, capture decisions and owners, and update trackers through completion.
• Draft status reports, SOPs, and executive materials for reviews.
