Job summary

Eaton seeks a Technical Program Manager for New Product Introduction and Production Ramp Up. This remote role includes up to 25% travel and leads complex, multi-site programs across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver on-schedule, within-scope results.

Responsibilities include building detailed project plans, managing budgets and risks, and reporting status to executives. A Bachelor's in engineering/related field and 5+ years of program management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive project/program management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and MS Office.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project management across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans (scope, schedule, budget, critical path).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial functions across geographies and time zones.
• Drive accountability without direct line authority across teams and leaders to resolve roadblocks.
• Establish a consistent project reporting cadence with dashboards and executive summaries.
• Facilitate structured phase-gate and milestone reviews and coordinate readiness assessments across dimensions.
• Drive alignment on scope, priorities, and resources across sites and functions.
• Manage project change control and obtain approvals before implementation.
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions at project closeout and contribute to process improvements.
