Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Program Manager II – Capacity Expansion to lead cross-functional teams in large-scale manufacturing transformation projects that expand capacity for power distribution assemblies. You will drive facilities from concept through startup, overseeing greenfield and brownfield expansions, product-line transfers, and network optimization.

Relocation is available within 50 miles of the project sites in NC/SC, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with construction, modification, transition, and startup of industrial facilities.
• PMI PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT plans accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead zero-incident safety culture for construction, installation and startup.
• Utilize Eaton’s PROLaunch stage gate process.
• Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and establish program structure.
• Accountable for scope, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
• Maintain business cases and comply with CAR and asset capitalization processes.
• Control spending, forecast, and monitor contingency usage.
• Communicate impacts of changes to stakeholders.
• Create detailed schedules with Microsoft Project and track interdependencies.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure smooth transition to operations with equipment delivery, FAT/SAT, and ramp-up.
• Manage transitions of equipment and inventory moves across plant sites.
• Deliver executive reviews and transparent reporting on status and risks.
