Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. offers an entry-level Field Engineering Program (FEP) that blends classroom, online training, and hands-on work with seasoned TFAs to build expertise in power generation equipment.

Graduates move into a Technical Field Advisor role, traveling to customer sites to support installation, maintenance, and warranty work on industrial turbines. You will install, maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment, read diagrams, and provide on-site instruction.

Qualifications

• A technical or university degree in a relevant field or a high school diploma/GED with related field services experience.
• Experience in field services, power generation equipment maintenance, or related technical discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, flow charts, and instrument drawings.
• English proficiency in written and spoken form.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair industrial power generation equipment at customer sites, including emergency and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and perform alignment and thermal growth measurements.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site instruction to customer representatives on installation, operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Prepare accurate technical reports, job status updates, and customer records for outages.
• Work safely under EHS policies and share knowledge to coach other team members.
