Job summary

FieldCore, part of GE Vernova, seeks an entry-level TFA FEP associate into FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP). You will be enrolled to develop technical expertise, lean thinking and leadership through training curricula, on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced Technical Field Advisors.

You will travel for installations, maintenance, and warranty work on industrial power generation equipment, with graduation leading to a TFA position.

Qualifications

• Technical or university degree or equivalent experience; HS diploma with 4+ years in Field Services accepted.
• Strong ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams and interpret instrumentation diagrams.
• Experience with dial and laser alignment and with thermal growth equipment.
• Must be able to travel extensively to project sites.
• English proficiency required for communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform and coordinate site activities.
• Install systems onsite and perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repairs and service requests.
• Provide technical instruction to customer representatives on installation, operation and maintenance.
• Prepare technical reports and job status updates for customers.
• Drive customer satisfaction and maintain safety standards on site.
