GE Vernova seeks a Technical Field Advisor to provide on-site technical direction to customer-owned utility and industrial power plants for Steam Turbine Generator Systems. You will review engineering documents, troubleshoot, and manage maintenance and repair of equipment. This is a remote U.S. position with 80% travel, primarily within the U.S.

The Technical Field Advisor (TFA) provides on-site technical direction to customer-owned utility and industrial power plants for their Steam Turbine Generator System(s). Responsibilities include reviewing engineering documents, troubleshooting, managing maintenance and repair of power generation equipment. The position is remote in the U.S. with 80% annual travel primarily within U.S. and Canada. Continuous employment depends on successful completion of GE training.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years relevant experience or High School Diploma with 7+ years relevant experience;
• ability to travel 80% annually;
• ability to obtain and maintain valid passport;
• successful completion of required training programs;
• experience with GE, Alstom, Siemens or other OEM equipment preferred;
• pipe fitting and tubing experience;
• fluent English;
• strong project management, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
