Job summary

Okta seeks a Technical Content Lead to translate complex security architectures into dynamic content for customers and executive stakeholders. You will partner with the Identity engineering teams to craft practical guides and reference architectures that ease platform adoption and trust in our zero-trust approach.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Product to ensure messaging aligns with brand and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, security communications analyst, or corporate technology writer within an enterprise SaaS, Cloud, or Cybersecurity environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Executive leadership to manage complex review processes.
• Ability to digest complex cloud, enterprise security, API, and digital identity concepts for diverse audiences.
• Creative storytelling to translate technical jargon into clear content while maintaining intent.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish technical content, whitepapers, strategic briefs, blogs, and FAQs for executive, internal, and customer-facing audiences.
• Turn internal deployment use cases into practical guidebooks, reference architectures, and customer narratives.
• Collaborate with the CTO for Strategy to translate vision and AI architectures into compelling narratives.
• Align communications with Marketing, Legal, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to meet brand standards and compliance.
• Develop messaging assets to support executive engagements with enterprise sponsors and customers.
