Job summary

Okta Inc. seeks a Technical Content Lead to translate complex security architectures into compelling content for executive, internal, and customer audiences. You will partner with Identity engineering to craft practical guides and reference architectures that drive platform adoption and trust.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to balance technical rigor with brand standards, ensuring high-impact communications across webinars, whitepapers, blogs, and FAQs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, or related field.
• 5+ years as a technical writer, security communications analyst, or corporate tech writer in enterprise SaaS/cloud/cybersecurity.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record partnering with Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Exec leadership for sensitive communications.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish high-quality technical content for executive, internal, and customer audiences.
• Turn internal deployment use cases into practical guidebooks and customer-facing narratives.
• Collaborate with CTO for Strategy to translate vision and zero-trust architectures into narratives.
• Align content with brand standards, compliance, and go-to-market strategies.
• Lead multi-faceted documentation projects from concept to completion under tight timelines.
