Job summary

Okta is seeking a Technical Content Lead to translate complex enterprise security architectures into engaging content for executives and customers. You will work with the CTO, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to produce whitepapers, briefs, and guides that demonstrate platform adoption and trust.

You will own multi-audience storytelling, craft customer-facing narratives from real deployments, and ensure high‑quality, on-brand communications across all channels. Remote‑friendly role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a technical writer, security communications analyst, or corporate technology writer.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Marketing, Sales and Executive leadership.
• Ability to digest cloud, enterprise security, API, and identity concepts.
• Portfolio of published long-form content for executive and technical audiences.
• Self-starter with strong ownership of multi-faceted documentation projects.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish high‑quality technical content for executives and customers.
• Partner with Identity engineering to translate real-world use cases into guides and narratives.
• Collaborate with the CTO for Strategy to shape vision and roadmaps into messaging.
• Align technical comms with brand, compliance, and go‑to‑market needs.
• Develop briefing materials for executive sponsorship and enterprise engagements.
• Influence content architecture and publication workflows for consistency.
