Job summary

Ramp, a leader in fintech infrastructure for finance teams, is seeking a Technical Consultant focused on commercial partnerships. You will serve as the technical and financial SME, designing solutions that align with customer needs through Ramp and partner integrations, and guiding cross-functional teams from onboarding to expansion.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to evolve Ramp capabilities, ensuring scalable implementations for high-growth customers and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business or related field.
• 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows.
• Comfort with APIs, integration logic, and explaining concepts to stakeholders.
• Strong communication, ability to translate technical solutions into business value and guide scalable approaches.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with ownership and bias toward action.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s internal teams during high-value implementations and expansions.
• Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management to assess requirements and propose scalable ERP/HRIS/API solutions.
• Collaborate with onboarding and implementation leads to support technical workstreams and faster time-to-value.
• Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through configuration decisions without coding.
• Define customer success criteria from onboarding through expansion and represent Ramp’s capabilities externally.
• Influence product roadmap by channeling customer pain points to Product and Engineering teams.
