Abbott Laboratories seeks a Technical Consultant for the Cardiometabolic group within Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. You will manage field-based technical service for LDX and Afinion in a defined geographic region, build strong customer relationships, and coordinate with sales and distribution partners.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology or comparable discipline is required.
• 3-5 years of successful track record in a technical/medical consultant role.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices and important regulatory considerations.
• Strong knowledge of the physician office market and how diagnostics are used in care.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with end-user accounts in the territory.
• Assess training and support needs of each new and existing customer.
• Deliver customized, effective training tailored to individual accounts.
• Troubleshoot and support end users on assigned Abbott products.
• Maintain compliance and ensure quality measures in customer interactions.
• Travel within the territory to cover accounts and support field teams.
