Job summary

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is seeking a Technical Consultant in Cardiometabolic to support LDX and Afinion products across the ARDx Cardiometabolic Business Unit. The role focuses on field-based technical service, training, troubleshooting, and account retention in the Northeast region.

You will travel 50–75% of the time, build strong relationships with end-user accounts, and collaborate with sales and distribution partners to drive service excellence and account growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Medical Technology or comparable discipline.
• 3–5 years in a technical/medical consultant role.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices.
• Strong knowledge of the physician office market.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with end-user accounts in the territory.
• Assist Technical Support and end users in troubleshooting.
• Assist with evaluations tailored to customer requirements.
• Aid compliance and quality initiatives in the lab.
• Develop and maintain relationships with AE and accounts.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and coordinate with Sales.
• Manage territory travel and expenses.
• Maintain Salesforce data and attend meetings.
