Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager to join our Technical Accounting team in CFO Advisory. This role manages external SEC financial statements, conducts accounting research, and coordinates with clients and auditors to ensure GAAP compliance.

The position emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and business development, with a hybrid/remote work model and opportunities to work across startups to mid-market clients. CPA certification strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or similar accounting field.
• Direct experience with SEC reporting (Regulation S-X and S-K) and preparation of financial statements and footnotes of public companies.
• Experience leading teams and multiple projects; senior-level advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Manage external SEC financial statements and filing processes, including MD&A, footnotes, and GAAP checklists.
• Oversee accounting research and documentation of new guidance affecting financial statements.
• Coordinate with clients and auditors; prepare disclosures and support files; review drafts.
