Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager level professional to manage external SEC financial statements and disclosures for public clients in a Massachusetts setting. The role requires deep GAAP knowledge and hands-on experience with SEC reporting, footnotes, and MD&A.

You will lead teams across multiple assignments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies. The position emphasizes a strong finance background and leadership in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Direct SEC reporting experience (Reg S-X and S-K) and preparation of financial statements and footnotes for public companies.
• Experience drafting MD&A and disclosures in compliance with SEC rules.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage external SEC financial statements and filing processes, including footnotes and MD&A.
• Oversee technical accounting research and documentation of new guidance.
• Monitor FASB, IASB, SEC, PCAOB developments and assess impact on client reporting.
• Coordinate with clients and auditors to finalize disclosures and checklists.
• Provide training, mentoring and involvement in public company reporting.
