Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Manager in Technical Accounting within the CFO Advisory practice. The role requires leading the external SEC reporting, MD&A, and footnotes, with daily on-site work at an office location.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in public accounting, CPA or equivalent, and strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and multiple projects while engaging with clients and auditors on complex accounting issues.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in dissecting and reconciling financial data and policies.
• Direct SEC reporting experience (Regulation S-X and S-K).
• Leadership experience overseeing teams and multiple projects.
• CPA or equivalent active license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare external SEC financial statements and filings, MD&A, footnotes, and related checklists.
• Research new accounting guidance and document policies affecting client financials.
• Monitor FASB, IASB, SEC, PCAOB developments and assess impacts.
• Coordinate with clients and auditors; review drafts and disclosures.
• Provide training and mentoring on external public company reporting.
• Organize status updates and project communications.
• Identify business development opportunities and expand client relationships.
