Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation seeks a Technical Account Manager/Partner (Data) Engineer to lead data integrations and support for enterprise clients. You will own scoping through implementation, collaborating with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to solve data challenges and guide clients.

The role blends technical account management with data engineering, including building pipelines, Python development, and AWS-based solutions, with a push toward AI-enabled tooling in FY2026.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Athena).
• Proficient in Python and its data stack (pandas, numpy, polars, pyspark, boto3).
• Deep experience with AWS core services for compute, storage and analytics.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and formats (Parquet, ORC, CSV).
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and cloud services; Jira and Git/GitHub used for DevOps.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science; related experience accepted.
• Familiarity with Airflow; AI tools such as Claude or Snowflake Intelligence a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on platform capabilities, integration best practices, and data governance.
• Proactively manage client communication, expectations and roadmaps.
• Document solutions and processes in Confluence or internal wikis.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Develop in Python using data libraries; leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker; follow Agile with Jira.
• Troubleshoot data issues across AWS services and codebases.
