Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation seeks a Technical Account Manager/Partner (Data) Engineer to join the Partner Engineering team. You will own client relationships from scoping to implementation, translating technical concepts for diverse audiences and ensuring long-term success.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering on data challenges, while advancing data pipelines, ETL, and governance in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in a technical client-facing role with direct interaction.
• Strong SQL and data platforms experience (Snowflake/Redshift/Athena).
• Proficient in Python data stack and AWS services.
• Experience with data formats (Parquet/ORC/CSV) and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical liaison for enterprise clients and own long-term success.
• Translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences and educate on best practices.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Lead data governance discussions and drive client-focused technical outcomes.
• Troubleshoot data issues across AWS services, pipelines, and codebases.
