Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation seeks a Technical Account Manager/Partner (Data) Engineer to lead data integrations and support for enterprise clients. You will own scoping through implementation, collaborating with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to solve data challenges and guide clients.

The role blends technical account management with data engineering, including building pipelines, Python development, and AWS-based solutions, with a push toward AI-enabled tooling in FY2026.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Athena).
• Proficient in Python and its data stack (pandas, numpy, polars, pyspark, boto3).
• Deep experience with AWS core services for compute, storage and analytics.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and formats (Parquet, ORC, CSV).
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and cloud services; Jira and Git/GitHub used for DevOps.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Data Science; related experience accepted.
• Familiarity with Airflow; AI tools such as Claude or Snowflake Intelligence a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on platform capabilities, integration best practices, and data governance.
• Proactively manage client communication, expectations and roadmaps.
• Document solutions and processes in Confluence or internal wikis.
• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Develop in Python using data libraries; leverage AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker; follow Agile with Jira.
• Troubleshoot data issues across AWS services and codebases.

Bridg is seeking a Technical Account Manager/Partner (Data) Engineer to join our Partner Engineering team, reporting to the Vice President of Solutions Engineering. Partner Engineering sits at the intersection of client success and technical execution, ensuring our largest enterprise clients have seamless data integrations, efficient onboarding, and long-term technical success. In this client-facing role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for strategic clients — owning the relationship from scoping through implementation and ongoing support. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to solve complex data challenges while translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for clients.

• Demonstrated success working with large-scale datasets and a wide variety of data formats (Parquet, ORC, CSV).
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and cloud services (e.g., Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira and version control using Git/GitHub.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with alerting/monitoring tools (e.g., Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or Snowflake Intelligence is a plus.

Technical Account Management (70%)

• Educate clients on platform capabilities, integration best practices, and data governance standards.
• Proactively manage client communication, expectations, and roadmaps.
• Document solutions and processes clearly in Confluence or internal wikis.

Data Engineering (30%)

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Develop in Python using libraries like pandas, numpy, polars, pyspark, and boto3.
• Leverage AWS services including S3, EC2, Redshift, Athena, Glue, EMR, EventBridge, Batch, and CloudWatch.
• Write efficient, production-grade SQL for data transformation and analysis.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Follow Agile best practices using Jira and contribute to a DevOps culture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues across AWS services, data pipelines, and codebases (Python, SQL, etc.).

AI Integration (FY2026 Requirement — All Roles)

• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to accelerate client-facing technical documentation, automate data pipeline troubleshooting, and streamline SQL/Python code review, improving turnaround time on client solutions.
