Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a seasoned Tech Writer/Editor for a 100% remote, full-time role supporting the Veterans Affairs (VA) department. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a Public Trust (MBI) clearance, and 10+ years of professional experience.

Salary range listed in the posting is $74,263–$81,970. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain technical publications, coordinate writers, and collaborate with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver accurate, user-friendly

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation, reports, manuals, procedures, process guides, proposals, and other business or technical publications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, grammar, style, and document quality.
• An ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and validate information.

Responsabilités

• Write and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related publications.
• Refine work of writers and coordinate activities of writers.
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
• Represent organization on specific projects.
