Job summary

OpenTrain AI seeks experienced technology transactions attorneys for remote, hourly contracted work evaluating and training AI on contract scenarios. You will review SaaS agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and data processing agreements while providing practice-grounded feedback.

Ideal candidates have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, active U.S. bar admission, and at least three years in-house tech transactions. Flexible, fully remote schedule; no AI experience required.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in the United States.
• Minimum of three years of in-house work focused on technology transactions.
• Professional fluency in English and hands-on negotiation of data processing agreements, NDAs and MSAs.
• No AI experience required; you bring the expertise and the tools will be trained.

Responsibilities

• Use SaaS agreements and other technology contracts in mock negotiation and redline exercises.
• Assess the AI's handling of contract scenarios, including accuracy, risk spotting and legal judgment.
• Provide clear, practice-grounded feedback on how contract language should be interpreted.
• Set the evaluation framework and scoring standards used for contract-focused AI tasks.
