Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Field Services Technician to own ticket escalation and provide remote and on-site support across the Bay Area. You will resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, document resolutions, and ensure SLA compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Flexibility to telecommute for California residents is noted, with some evening/weekend rotations possible. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contributions, with hourly pay

Qualifications

2+ years of desktop support experience.
2+ years maintaining PCs/Laptops including Windows 10/11.
2+ years managing Office 365 user accounts.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Serve as point of contact and own ticket escalation from the remote help desk.
Assist Network Administrator with basic networking tasks and installations.
Support desktop tasks: printer installs, password resets, account management.
Resolve workstation, printer, phone, and connectivity issues via phone, email, or in-person.
Deliver superior customer service with professionalism and care.
Document all requests, actions, and resolutions in the system.
Participate in after-hours, weekend work, and 24x7 on-call rotation as needed.
Ensure adherence to all Service Level Agreements with clients.
