Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Tech Support Specialist to deliver remote and on-site desktop support across the enterprise. The role includes incident management, hardware setup, and end-user training to improve productivity and service quality.

You will support the modernization program, work standard shifts, and ensure compliance with security and policy requirements while delivering reliable technology assistance to users nationwide.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in an IT field.
• 6+ months experience with Microsoft Office to assist end users.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain favorable adjudication for eQuip SF86 submission.
• Shifts: Mon-Fri 9am–6pm CST.
• Must obtain and maintain suitability/clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Help Desk support via phone or chat.
• Set up and maintain hardware and software including printers and scanners.
• Educate end-users on resolving hardware and software issues.
• Assist staff with desktop/server setup and configuration per guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and request equipment as needed.
• Provide on-site support for video conference tools.
• Document Incident/Request logs and resolutions.
• Escalate issues to appropriate personnel to resolve.
