Paylocity is seeking a Team Lead in Operations to manage and coach a designated team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and strategic input. The position is fully remote in the U.S. and requires availability five days per week during core hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a lead or mentor role.
• 3+ years in Payroll and HR industry.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Comfort communicating with executive leadership.
• Autonomous work style with minimal direction.
• Client-first mindset and ability to teach excellence.
• Thought leadership on technology value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a designated team’s day-to-day work and allocate tasks.
• Act as liaison to other groups to support initiatives and timelines.
• Identify and remove obstacles hindering team performance.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
• Lead regular meetings and update communications.
• Provide input on performance management and promotions.
• Compile team performance metrics for leadership.
• Collaborate on best practices to improve team results.
• Lead team initiatives and execute strategic plans.
• Represent Tech Ops in cross-team escalations and issue resolution.
