Job summary

Tech Asst is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical design, hands-on development, and engineering excellence for Claims and Healthcare workflows. You will lead backend development in Python on AWS, promote AI-assisted engineering, and mentor a growing team to deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role combines architecture influence with hands-on coding, code reviews, and collaboration with product and operations to ensure reliability and performance across production systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend development experience.
• Hands-on AWS design, deployment, and operations.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiar with AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD, testing, security, observability.
• Experience with production deployments and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of backend services on Python and AWS.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Own design decisions, lead code reviews, ensure quality and security.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering using Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across teams.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD, tests, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Identify risks, manage dependencies, and ensure production readiness.
• Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to ISMS security standards.
