The role emphasizes hands-on coding, code reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to meet business goals and ensure robust production readiness.

Qualifications

• Leads and mentors engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to enhance design, coding, debugging and testing.
• Experience designing scalable backend architectures and secure deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality software delivery.
• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python and AWS services.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption to improve coding efficiency, testing, debugging, and code quality.
• Oversee application architecture, code reviews, security, performance, and engineering best practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployments, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.
• Go/GoLang experience is a plus.
