Tech Asst is seeking a Tech Lead to drive technical design, hands-on development, and engineering excellence for Claims and Healthcare workflows. You will lead backend development in Python on AWS, promote AI-assisted engineering, and mentor a growing team to deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role combines architecture influence with hands-on coding, code reviews, and collaboration with product and operations to ensure reliability and performance across production systems.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive technical design, hands‑on development, and engineering excellence for applications supporting Claims and Healthcare business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, hands‑on AWS experience, and practical knowledge of AI‑assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.This is a hands‑on technical leadership role involving solution design, code reviews, application development, team mentoring, and end‑to‑end delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud‑native applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications using Python and AWS.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Own technical design decisions and lead code reviews, ensuring code quality, testing, security, and observability.
• Promote AI‑assisted engineering using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor, including prompting, agentic workflows, and validation of AI‑generated code.
• Guide developers on architecture, coding standards, debugging, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and operational stability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure production readiness.
• Mentor engineers, encourage knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to application security standards and organizational ISMS policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Core Technical Skills- Strong proficiency in Python backend development.
• Hands‑on experience designing, building, and operating applications on AWS.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and backend application integration.
• Practical experience with AI‑assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of solution design, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, application security, and observability.
• Experience with production deployments, debugging, and performance optimization.

Good‑to‑Have Skills-

• Experience with Go (Golang).
• Familiarity with agentic AI workflows, AI‑assisted test generation, and cloud‑native monitoring.
