Job summary

Simplify Alpha is seeking a Technical Lead for Full Stack Development in the healthcare space. This remote role in the United States focuses on building highly available distributed systems on AWS with Go, Python, and Node.js, running on Kubernetes platforms such as EKS and OpenShift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with deep distributed systems expertise.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go and Python, strong Node.js skills for polyglot services.
• Extensive AWS experience including EKS and OpenShift as enterprise Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and scaling automation via Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex, distributed, high-availability systems in Go, Python, and Node.js.
• Define technical direction and engineering best practices for the team.
• Own AWS infrastructure decisions across EKS/OpenShift and serverless services.
• Drive automation across CI/CD, IaC, testing, and operations.
• Lead design reviews and set coding standards; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead incident response and long-term reliability improvements.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies for value.
