Norstella is hiring a Technical Lead for remote work in the United States. You will lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality software using Spring Boot and cloud services, while fostering an AI-driven culture across product platforms.

You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with product management to translate client requirements into scalable backend solutions. Strong leadership and communication are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 9+ years of Java programming experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 4+ years with Spring Boot and Spring Frameworks.
• 2+ years with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• 4+ years experience in open source frameworks.
• Proficiency with AI tools like Cursor and Claude.
• 2+ years experience with Agile practices.
• 2+ years with modern Relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL).
• 3+ years designing backend microservices with RESTful APIs and security.
