Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a technically minded Account Manager to identify and secure new business in industrial fastening products and joining solutions. You will engage engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to develop technical solutions and drive opportunities from prospecting to production launch.

Develop and execute strategic plans, qualify new customers, and coordinate samples, tests, and trials while maintaining a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural or Materials Engineering.
• 3+ years in technical or industrial sales, business development, or engineering.
• Proven success in new business development and consultative selling.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs, processes and applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers through targeted outreach and networking.
• Develop technical solutions and proposals to win production awards.
• Lead opportunities from concept through commercial award and launch.
