Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote, 40-hour-per-week strategist to support TBM and Apptio-related activities within the Strategy and Planning department. The role emphasizes cost transparency, data-driven insights, and collaboration across IT and business units.

The ideal candidate has a 3+ year background in information systems, TBM Studio configuration, and strong communication skills to translate requirements into actionable plans. Fully remote with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 3 years of information systems experience including TBM/Apptio.
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing Apptio TBM Studio models.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Apptio Cost Transparency, TBM Studio, and related TBM capabilities through configuration, maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, data management, and quality controls.
• Support Benchmarking & Survey Management activities, including collection, validation, analysis, and timely submission of benchmark and survey data to inform leadership reporting and decision-making.
• Work with IT and business units to gather business cases and requirements for technology-related problems.
• Conduct detailed interviews with stakeholders to define functional requirements.
• Create business process mappings to show interdependencies between entities.
• Apply IT and business knowledge to formulate requirements to solve business problems.
• Assist in business relationship management, strategy, and portfolio/demand management.
• Maintain productive relationships with IT, business, and external partners.
