Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst to support TBM processes and Apptio configurations. You will collect requirements, develop functional specs, and partner with IT and business units to drive cost transparency and planning initiatives.

You will engage stakeholders, map complex processes, and translate business needs into actionable TBM solutions while ensuring quality data management and reporting. This remote role supports multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3 years of experience in information systems with business applications analysis.
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing models in Apptio TBM Studio.
• Demonstrated TBM and Apptio experience including cost transparency, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Apptio TBM related capabilities through configuration, maintenance, enhancements, issue resolution, data management, and quality controls.
• Support Benchmarking & Survey Management activities including collection, validation, analysis, and timely submission of data to inform leadership reporting.
• Collaborate with IT consultancy and business units to define business cases and requirements to solve technology-related problems.
• Conduct detailed interview sessions with stakeholders to define and construct functional requirements.
• Create business process mappings showing interdependencies between entities.
• Apply IT and business knowledge to formulate requirements and cost estimates for projects.
• Assist in business relationship management, strategy and portfolio/demand management.
• Maintain productive relationships with peers, management, and external partners.
