Job summary

Optro is seeking a highly organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator (East Coast based) to manage interview scheduling across time zones, communicate with candidates and hiring teams, and support the recruiting process from start to finish. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers, balance complex calendars, and help drive improvements in the candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or in a similar coordination or administrative support role.
• Experience coordinating complex schedules across multiple time zones and supporting globally distributed teams.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and last-minute changes.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate scheduling conflicts and changing priorities.
• Commitment to delivering a seamless, high-quality candidate experience.
• High level of discretion and professionalism handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on experience with ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume and complex interview schedules across multiple time zones.
• Serve as a key point of contact for candidates with timely, thoughtful communication.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to manage scheduling needs and changes.
• Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and keep hiring processes moving.
• Manage candidate and interview data in the ATS, ensuring accuracy and updates.
• Provide onboarding prep and other TA-related administrative support.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling workflows and candidate experience.
• Contribute to employer branding and university recruiting initiatives.
