Job summary

Cologix is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant (Contract) to lead staffing efforts for the Data Center Operations team. This fully remote, 4-5 month assignment focuses on attracting and screening diverse, qualified talent and ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

You will draft job descriptions, post roles, schedule interviews, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate with managers on offers, salary ranges, and start dates, while ensuring regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience recruiting in telecommunications or Data Center industry preferred.
• Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment for operations-focused roles including HVAC, Mechanical, Technician, etc. is helpful.
• Good relationship building skills and proven track record of partnering with hiring managers.
• Experience with recruiting agencies is a plus.
• Experience with passive sourcing (LinkedIn Recruiter) is a plus.
• Desire to partner with the business to find the best talent.
• Ability to assess candidates during Zoom interviews and provide insights to the hiring team.
• At least five years managing all phases of recruitment and hiring processes preferred.
• Negotiation and closing techniques experience.
• Experience with ATS – Lever preferred.
• Bilingual French/English required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with managers to draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes.
• Schedules interviews and communicates with candidates.
• Performs initial screenings and makes recommendations.
• Assists with interview process and feedback sessions.
• Supports offer process with salary ranges, incentives, start dates, etc.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Maintains recruiting databases and Lever for reporting accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
