Job summary

Cologix is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant (Contract) to lead staffing for Data Center Operations. The role emphasizes candidate and hiring manager experience and quick learning of complex role requirements.

It is a 4-5 month contract covering a leave, with fully remote work options. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in recruitment, strong negotiation skills, and experience in high-volume operations roles, preferably in telecom or data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience recruiting in telecommunications or Data Center industry preferred.
• Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment for operations-focused roles (HVAC, Mechanical, Technician) is helpful.
• Strong relationship-building skills and history of partnering with hiring managers.
• Experience in a recruiting agency is a plus.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.
• Desire to partner with business to find top talent.
• Experience assessing candidates during Zoom interviews and providing insights to the hiring team.
• Five years managing all recruitment phases is highly preferred.
• Proven negotiation and closing techniques.
• Experience with an ATS (Lever preferred).
• Bilingual French/English required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with department managers to draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes.
• Schedules interviews and communicates with candidates throughout the interview process.
• Performs initial candidate screenings and makes recommendations to the hiring team.
• Drives interview process and conducts feedback sessions with stakeholders.
• Supports offers by identifying salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and details.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Maintains recruiting databases and Lever for reporting accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
