Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. is seeking a Support Specialist - Tier I to respond to inbound and outbound customer calls, provide technical guidance on software, services, peripherals, and equipment, and document interactions in the CRM system.

This full-time remote role is limited to applicants in ID, IL, MN, MI, KS, KY, SD, UT or WI. Training runs 8AM–5PM CT; after training core hours are 10AM–7PM CT, with other shifts possible. Starting pay is $17/hr plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1 year customer service experience.
• Experience with customer relationship management or CRM software and basic troubleshooting.
• 2 years with Microsoft OS and Office suite (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound/outbound calls and provide technical support for software, services, peripherals, and equipment.
• Document inquiries, steps, and resolution status in CRM; escalate when needed.
• Maintain and improve technical proficiency through ongoing education.
• Meet or exceed department performance metrics and follow procedures.
