Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support is hiring a Supervisor to oversee an inbound and outbound patient access team. The role focuses on enrollment, reimbursement, and copay activities across a remote setting.

You will develop SOPs, monitor metrics, and coach team members while coordinating with leadership to implement policy changes. Training runs 8:00am-5:00pm CST for a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2-3 years proven experience in a leadership position within a call center preferred; exposure to customer service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments with a sense of urgency; highly organized.
• Commitment to the continued development of oneself and team members.
• Ability to lead and engage remote employees.
• Shift flexibility required if coverage is needed on early/later shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations for an inbound and outbound patient access support team.
• Maintain development/training goals for team members in a 100% remote setting.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions & metrics for the program.
• Review program metrics and report results to leadership.
• Manage workflow within the team to ensure efficient customer service operations; monitor calls and KPIs.
• Test/solve/approve program changes including tech/platform updates and business rules.
• Meet with Manager regularly to discuss performance and coaching needs.
• Conduct biweekly/monthly/quarterly 1x1s with team members and provide feedback.
• Manage Workday tasks: approvals, timecards, PTO, etc.
• Ensure compliance with laws; support HIPAA plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Prioritize duties to meet deadlines; maintain daily client/partner contact.
• Other duties as assigned.
