Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support is seeking a Supervisor, Access and Patient Support to oversee program staff performing customer service, enrollment and reimbursement activities, and prior authorization assistance.

You will lead an inbound/outbound patient access team in a remote setting, develop SOPs, track metrics, coach staff, and ensure timely responses while complying with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a call center or similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop SOPs and coaching plans for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations for an inbound and outbound patient access support team.
• Maintain development/training goals for team members in a 100% remote setting.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and program metrics.
• Review program metrics and report results to leadership.
• Manage workflow to ensure efficient customer service operations; monitor calls and KPIs.
• Test/solution changes related to technology, platform upgrades and business rules.
• Meet with Manager to discuss performance and policies.
• Conduct coaching 1x1s and feedback on performance and goals.
• Manage Workday tasks; approvals timecards, PTO.
• Comply with laws and HIPAA; support compliance plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues.
• Prioritize time and meet deadlines.
• Maintain daily contact with client/3rd party partners; strong communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
